I played 12 two years ago, completed a lot of it and found the game way too easy. Would a single job playthrough be more challenging but a bit bland, and a double job playthrough be the opposite? What would be best for a newcomer to the FF12 Zodiac? The thing about 12 is that it's both the hardest FF and by far the easiest FF.Other jobs that offer great utility as well, but are more of a secondary choice to me, are: Monk, Shikari, Red Battlemage, Bushi and Machinist. So, my "Final" formation that I'm trying for my current play through is: Party 1: Vaan: Black Mage / Machinist. Balthier: White Mage / Monk. Basch: Knight / Monk. Party 2:I'd recommend Monk/Bushi instead. Your other three are good choices (making Bushi your doubled job).
